How to say familiar in Japanese
You have seen/heard/feel/sense it somewhere before, and you see it again, like deja vu, that is when you could use the word おなじみ onajimi
Can be used on famous things. For example, there is someone famous, where you have seen the face so often, you can say おなじみの顔です。onajimi no kao desu
Say,
(お)なじみ onajimi+の no+(noun)
Note: お o can be omitted. Add it to sound more polite.
