展示会があって、商品も売られている。
tenji kai ga atte, shouhin mo urareteiru


How to say in Japanese: Sell
Let`s explore the different way the same word can be used for different meaning.

商品を売る shouhin wo uru = I am selling goods.
商品は売られている shouhin ha urareteiru = Goods are sold
商品は売れている shouhin ha ureteiru = Goods are selling.
Can you see the difference?
First one is an active verb. 
Second is a passive verb. 
Third is an adjective.

Note: 
売られている urareteiru and 売れている ureteiru sounds similar but it is not the same.
